Gammie Air Monitoring

Helpful Example Calculations For Air Emission Measurements

How to calculate:

  • pounds per hour emission rate (lbs/hr)
  • generate a concentration in milligrams per dry standard cubic meters corrected to 7% oxygen (mg/dscm at 7% O2)
  • determine the emission rate in pounds per million British thermal units (lbs/MMBtu)

See the following example: Click to Open the EPA Method 5 Example

To Calculate Emissions of:

  • sulfur dioxides (SO2)
  • oxides of nitrogen (NOx)
  • carbon monoxide (CO)
  • volatile organic compounds (VOC)

The above can be easily calculated using our Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) calculations. Click Here to Open the CEM Example
